Mithril M453 Thorin Entombed with the Arkenstone

This is by far the most ambitious that I've painted so far, and I'm pretty happy with myself :)

Mithril MS258 - The Oath of Cirion & Eorl

Another one I painted quite a while back. I still like it though :)

Mithril M199 Gondorian Royal Guards

I originally painted these two a while ago, 2 years maybe (it's been 3 years now I'm painting Mithril figurines) and I wanted to paint them back now to see if I made any progress.
Honestly, I did like the one on the right, I don't think it's that bad; but then I'm really pleased with how the new painting turned out! I was able to add the eyes, and also more details to the helmet etc. I just think it looks nicer now :) I've also changed the dark brown elements to a lighter brown to have a better contrast with the black of the uniform, I thin it does look better now.
Now I only have to paint the other one the same way!
I alos have M195 - Denethor Steward of Gondor, with the Gondor throne, and they do look very good together!

Mithril M151 Mordor Orcs

These were painted quite a while ago but I still like them today.

I've got several orcs, quite a little squad, and I'll post more of them in the next days.

I've got two sets of these actually, I love them; the first set I bought... more than 30 years ago!

Mithril M495 (Salute 2007) Glorfindel and Lord of the Nazgul

Sorry for the poor photos, that one is not easy to shoot...
Got that one on eBay for practically nothing, a few euros, and initially I painted only the Nazgul because it's pretty easy and I loooove Mithril Nazguls, so it was on its own for a few months and I thought it looked great!
Then I painted Glorfindel just this weekend, and I'm pretty happy with it as it is. I'm happy with his face and eyes; that's never easy to pull off; and then the colors could be a bit more contrasted but I don't think it's bad. I' do better next time hopefully!
Oh ans also, the mini came with pieces that I had to detach, ti was very practical during the painting because I could hold it easyly, BUT it's very difficult and delicate to remove once the mini is painted, if you don't want to ruin your painting... It might be better to remove these things prior to painting, I don't know what I'll do next time.
Glorfindel was painted with a 3/0 brush.

Mithril M144 Riddles in the Dark

This was done a long time ago, they would need to be repainted to be less dark. And then I'd add eyes to Bilbo. I'll do this at some point in the future...

Mithril M199 Gondorian Royal Guards & Mithril M195 Denethor Steward of Gondor + Mithril M52 Gandalf the Wizard + 1/2 Mithril M129 Merry and Pippin

It was the first set up of several figurines of my collection I have ever tried, just to see how it looks.
This was actually done quite some time ago, they're all much too dark and will have to be repainted at some point...
